Measuring the Effect of Rounding the Corners of Scattering Structures
The problem considered in this paper is interesting from the mathematical point of view; it is also valuable for numerical simulation of rather complicated obstacles and even various practical devices. The authors did not restrict themselves to a theoretical consideration of the problem and algorithms of its solution, but they also made a detailed numerical investigation and verification of their approach.
